An FBI profiler and Drew Pinsky provide a great definition of psychopathy on this recent episode of Anderson Cooper using statements Ariel Castro made in court that are classic examples of the twisted thinking and word salad P’s use. This type of media coverage is priceless and will hopefully continue to educate society about P’s :blushing:

I really like this video, db2327hr!! I love watching Andersen Cooper as he tries to wrap his brain around the disgusting psychopathic behavior of Castro. It's very validating, because it's how all of us feel after going through our own encounters with psychopaths!

I read Mary Ellen O'Toole's book, Dangerous Instincts, and it was an interesting read. She definitely understands psychopathy, which is so reassuring. It's always wonderful to hear from people who really get it, and I'm so glad that Andersen chose her and Dr. Drew (who surprised me by also "getting it") as his experts to interview.

    Thanks for sharing! :h:

I initially felt the same way - that he got off easy compared with the hell the 3 young women he abused had to endure for so many hears. However, I'm sure it is a comfort to each of them that he no longer exists and they don't have to see his image in the media anymore.

Ariel Castro's First Victim, Michael Knight, Speaks Out

This link shows the interview broken up in segments of approximately 3 minutes each, likely because of a lot of commercial injections.
